Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Greenhouse ("we," "us," or the "App"), operated by SBN Platforms, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company based in Las Vegas, Nevada ("SBN Platforms"), collects, uses, and protects information when you use our iOS application and our website at greenhouseapp.co.

Information we collect

Account information. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a stable anonymous identifier and, if you choose to share it, your name or email. We do not request your real email address — Apple's Hide My Email service is supported by default. We never see your password.

Subscription information. Subscription purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to track entitlement state (whether your subscription is active). We do not see your full payment information — only the transaction identifier, product purchased, and current entitlement status.

App usage data. To make Greenhouse work, we store on our servers:

• The focus sessions you start and complete (duration, start time, end time)
• Schedules you create (recurrence, duration, target time)
• Your garden state (items placed, coin balance, harvest history)
• Referral codes you create and codes you use
• App and device information (iOS version, app version) needed for troubleshooting

Locally stored data. Some data stays on your device and never reaches our servers. Most notably, the specific apps and websites you choose to block via Apple's Screen Time API are stored as encrypted tokens that iOS makes available only to your device and to Greenhouse running on that device. We cannot see, transmit, or access these selections by design.

Technical data. Our infrastructure providers (Google Firebase) may log technical information such as IP addresses, request timestamps, and crash reports for security, abuse prevention, and reliability purposes.

How we use information

We use this information to:

• Run focus sessions and apply your blocklist
• Maintain your garden, coin balance, and progress
• Process subscriptions and prevent abuse
• Provide customer support when you reach out
• Improve the App and diagnose problems

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not build user profiles for marketing.

Who we share it with

We share limited information with the service providers necessary to run Greenhouse:

• Apple — for sign-in, in-app purchase processing, and Screen Time functionality
• Google Firebase — for data storage (Firestore), authentication, server infrastructure (Cloud Functions), and reliability monitoring
• RevenueCat — for subscription state management

Each of these providers has their own privacy practices and is subject to their own data protection commitments. We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or any third parties outside of operating the App.

We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of users or the public.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent at any time

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@greenhouseapp.co. Account deletion is also available directly in the App under Settings.

If you are in the European Union, European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have additional rights under the GDPR, including the right to object to processing, the right to data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to request deletion. We do not sell personal information.

Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we permanently remove your data from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or to resolve disputes.

Anonymized or aggregated data that does not identify you may be retained for analytics and product improvement.

Children

Greenhouse is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU/EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under these ages. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact privacy@greenhouseapp.co and we will delete it.

International users

Greenhouse is operated from the United States. By using the App, you understand that your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be announced in the App or via email if we have one for you. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
