Greenhouse uses Apple's Screen Time API to block apps during your focus sessions — the same technology as iOS Screen Time, so it works reliably at the system level.
Screen Time permission is required to block apps. Without it, Greenhouse can't prevent you from opening distracting apps. Your data stays private — we never see which specific apps you use.
Your session is saved and resumes when you reopen the app. App blocks stay active at the system level even if Greenhouse isn't running — they even survive app deletion.
Yes. Emergency End, in the app's settings, stops your active session immediately with no coin penalty and no hit to your streak. You get 3 emergency ends, and each one becomes available again a year after you use it.
You earn coins for every minute of focus, plus a streak bonus for consecutive completed sessions. Collecting harvest from garden items earns additional coins.
Focus to earn coins, spend them in the shop, and place items in your garden. Some items produce coins over time while you focus — tap to collect when they're ready.
Go to Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions on your device to manage or cancel. Your access remains active until the end of the billing period.
